Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Foundation Trust’s new Aseptic Unit and Radiopharmacy Department has been designed and built for the Aseptic compounding and preparation of pharmaceutical products.

The new cleanroom facility provides EU GMP Grade C (ISO 14644 Classification 7) suites including Cytotoxic Aseptic dispensing, MAbs Aseptic dispensing, Gene Therapy Aseptic dispensing, Technetium Aseptic dispensing and Blood Labelling rooms.  All rooms in this cleanroom build have controlled access and comprehensive environmental monitoring systems (EMS) which are validated.

Enbloc were successful winning this project with Kier Construction.  Kier built the building shell and Enbloc completed all aspects of the Pharmacy including validation to achieve MHRA licence.
